Who has the power here?
Painted with acrylic on cardboard, the portraits on old cardboard acted as a contrast to the sculpture. In this post-capitalist realism, the sculptures come alive, take on hair and human skin tones. The communication of a price are a subliminal attack on the immense prices of the art world. Here they are communicated quite directly, as an allusion to the power structures of consumer society.
